What are typical hardware requirements to run AlgoTrader

We generally recommend the following initial hardware configurations:

• CPU: QuadCore

• RAM: 12G

• DISK: 100G SSD

If using Amazon AWS we recommend at least instance type m5.large, ideally instance type m5.xlarge with at 50 to 100 GB storage.

m5.xlarge specs:

• 4 vCPU (physical cores times 2 virtual threads)
• 16 Gigs of RAM
• SSD Storage
• up to 10Gbps network bandwidth

Tested minimum memory requirements for modules individually (as of early 2020):

• 1 Algotrader Server - 1300MB
• 1 MySQL - 256MB
• 1 InfluxDB - 386MB
• 1 Strategy (if distributed) - 150MB
